Krystal Marie Ball
Krystal Marie Balm (born November 24 in 1980) is an American journalist and political commentator. She was a former candidate for the US Senate, as well as a TV presenter on MSNBC. She was a frequent contributor on The Huffington Post and co-host of The Hill's Rising, along with Saagar Enti. In the month of May, 2021 Ball and Enjeti announced that they were quitting the show to start their own project called Breaking Points with Krystal and Saagar. Ball is a co-host with Kyle Kulinski on the podcast Krystal Kyle & Friends. She has guest appearances on Fox News, CNN and Fox News. Ball has been married to Jonathan Dariyanani since 2020. Ball says that her fascination with politics due to her experience as pregnant during the 2008 presidential primaries, and watching the results of the 2008 US presidential election while working in Jordan. She was able to observe the impact it had on people in her country and developed an appreciation for the worldwide influence of US politics. She was part of the Senior Fellowship member of the New Leaders Council. Ball was nominated by the Democratic Party to represent Virginia's 1st Congressional District in the 2010 election. However, she lost to Rob Wittman. From June 2012 through July 2015, she was host of The Cycle, an MSNBC program The Cycle. In May of 2017, she launched the People's House Project, a political action group working for Democratic causes.
